This Past Week

Opening day has arrived in Major League Baseball...which means hours of watching baseball. What may be the most grueling part is the hours of research needed to dominate the fantasy baseball leagues. This is all while trying to keep my blog updated, 40hr work week, and college 5 days a week (earned a 82 on my Physics exam, highest score in the class was a 85...go me). Without a doubt I'm sure many of you are balancing much more with two hands, including your family, friends, relationships, work, and whatever personal issues you may be going through. So I'm in no way looking for any sympathy points. I'd like to think in fact, i have it easy. How long will i have it easy for? I do not know. That's the beauty of life, not knowing what is ahead. I'm working on an post ill have hopefully done by tomorrow, in regards to the American schooling system. Hope my followers will find it interesting. How can i forget this! Earlier this week my house cat, decided to climb on some kitchen counters and break some dishes. While doing so, he got a pretty deep gash on hind leg. Pretty small, pretty costly, and from his limp pretty painful. So lets all wish Max a speedy recovery. Mets game is about to start, From New York To You, peace and love.

We All Change...Right?

Most would agree that we all change. Some of us change the foods we eat, the friends we have, or the decisions we make. What could be the most important part of changing, weather the change is good or bad, is how long the change remains. I want to know, what have you changed in your life recently. Is this change permanent or temporary? Most important maybe, how will this change affect you?

16 Year Streak Likely To Come To An End

A streak that started during the 1992-93 NBA season will likely end this NBA season. Future Hall of Famer, Shaquille O'Neal, is destined to miss the playoffs for the first time ever. Sixteen years straight the 37 year old center has been a familiar face in the NBA playoffs. Averaging just above 25 points and 12 rebounds in the playoffs, the feared and dominate center will likely not be missed by any playoff bound teams this year. Shaq's Phoenix Suns find themselves 4 games back, with 7 games to play. If Shaq and the Suns wish to see the playoffs, they would need to run off a 8 game win streak; and hope the currently 8th seeded Dallas Mavericks play less than .500 ball. Without a doubt, missing the playoffs will have Shaq, a 16 year veteran, in uncharted waters. With one additional year left on his contract, retirement talks probably wont be murmured. But the Big Diesel may be seeing his last days as a perennial playoff fixture.
